Chef Jason Connolly, a native to San Diego and graduate of the California Culinary Academy of San Francisco has made his mark at Bistro West. Chef Jason comes to West having worked at Delfina in San Francisco, voted Best New Restaurant by Food & Wine Magazine and under the tutelage of James Beard Winner, Chef Craig Stoll. Connolly has worked the San Diego Restaurant circuit from country clubs to fine dining and landed at Bistro West in 2008 where he has been a fixture ever since. His primary focus is to serve fresh, healthy, real food. Chef Jason reserves the title of Assistant Farmer and is instrumental in the growth and harvesting at the West Village Farm. Connolly, is a member of Slow Food Urban San Diego, Slow Food Nation and Edible San Diego.
